Maybe not 4 stars but worth more than 3! Nice spot, very good service and the food was pretty darn good! Walking in it reminded me of something from Kitchen Nightmares but if it is its one of the success story ones. Pretty big menu but despite that everything we ordered was good. I had the Prime Rib sandwich and it was a good choice. The bun was the perfect fit, soaked up the juices but stayed firm. Try the onion rings though, better than the waffle fries. Might have to try it again, it's a good safe choice. KT

Very nice place! Rustic but elegant. Food was good. Prices a tad high but would recommend for a nice dinner out.

Absolutely, positively terrible. The place is advertised to be an upscale dinner restaurant, but it might as well be a Golden Corral with better atmosphere and real waitstaff. The fish is always dry, the ribs are smothered in grocery store bought BBQ sauce (which is truly a tragedy since they seem to know how to cook the meat...just nothing about making a good sauce). If you were to order a Chai tea...they give you a powder packet to mix into your water...like it was Kool Aid. There is no reason to spend the ridiculous amount of money they charge for every tasteless over/under cooked item on the menu. Pathetic is the word that best describes it.

I wish I could give negative stars for this establishment. I don't typically leave reviews, but I was blown away with my one and only experience here. Let me first say that I've never even set foot in the restaurant part but after what happened, I have no desire to even give the restaurant a try. This place has a cool little bar tucked away behind the restaurant that offers decent beer on draft and your regular well drinks, and $0.25 wings on Wednesdays. We decided to check it out on wing night. It was initially pretty busy (there's only a few tables in the bar) and we resorted to sitting at the bar, which we like to do anyway. It took a while to get our drinks, but it was pretty busy, and we're typically pretty patient. My bf and his friend both took advantage of wing night and ordered 20 wings, with the intention of having some left to take to work the next day. I had planned to only order 10 for myself, but misspoke and ordered 20 after the two of them ordered. I immediately told the bar tender of my mistake and he said it was already too late and "the cook is probably already cooking them". At that moment I just figured I'd take the rest home. We get the wings, in a pretty timely fashion, and they were pretty tasty. I had half buffalo and half sweet chili. The sweet chili were my favorite and the buffalo were about your average buffalo, nothing special. Once my bf and I finished what we could we piled our remaining wings on one plate, and asked for a to-go box. This is where the negative review comes in the strongest: He told us we were not allowed to take the wings home. WHAT?! We were both extremely confused...we were actually speechless at first. We asked to speak to the bar manager. She came by and told us the same thing, "Sorry, but we're not allowed to let you take the wings." I worked in the food industry very briefly and it was fast food so I don't know much, but I know that you absolutely can NOT take food that one customer did not eat and try to serve it to another customer. So I asked, "But why, you're just going to throw them away, right?" and she nodded. Throwing food away because you're not allowing people to take it home is an absolute waste and just blows my mind. I was livid. I asked if we could get refunded for the wings we didn't eat. And then the bar manager grabs the plate of piled-on wings and says, "Yeah I'll give you your money back and give these to another table because we ran out of wings. Did you touch them?" I just about fell off the bar stool at this point. There are so many things wrong with that statement I didn't even know what to say, but my bf answers, "Of course we touched them, they're piled on one plate now!" She then says "Oh well never mind, there's nothing I can do." I really, really hope that she would not have tried to serve those wings to another table, and I certainly pray that she has done that in the past. I've had bad waitresses, bad food, bad attitudes, but I've never left a restaurant so appalled in so many ways. Wasting food is one huge red flag, but the possibility that this place could be reserving others' left overs is disgusting. I don't really understand why you can't let people take the wings home, but whatever, the least you could do is let your customers know that before they order, that way you don't run out of wings, throw away food, or piss off your paying customers.

Get the rib eye. It was by far the best steak I've ever had at a restaurant. It was a little expensive, but so worth the cost! Avoid the desserts. I ordered French silk pie and I'm pretty sure it came frozen out of a box. Still good, but took a little away from the experience.

I brought my Fiance here for Valentines Day and we really liked it. She raved about the ribs (which were just coming off the bone effortlessly) and the french fries. The service was good and the atmosphere was very nice. I would recommend it for more fancy meals as it is pricey.

Always great service....good food. Try the local beef and walleye, you will not be disappointed.
